If you like a Negroni or a Spritz, you will love them with Rinomato!
RINOMATO is a line of aperitifs produced in the heart of Italy’s historic aperitivo region – Asti, Piedmont. A collaboration between legendary barman Giancarlo Mancino and his American importer, these beautifully balanced and classic products root themselves in the artisan production methods and aperitivo traditions of 19th century northern Italy.
The distinct aromas are a product of careful ingredient sourcing by Giancarlo Mancino from small family farms across 4 continents. The intense palate is ensured only by just-in-time crushing of botanicals on the production line, using a vintage botanical mill from the 1930s. Finally, patience combines with the careful extraction, blending and filtration processes to bind all the ingredients and flavors together, creating a sophisticated, structured product with depth and balance.
Rinomato Aperitivo is the bitter aperitif, the colour of blood red oranges, with rich aromas of orange peel, vanilla, gentian root, cinchona bark and wormwood. An initial sweetness on the palate carries those aromas into a long and intensifying bitter finish that remains in perfect balance with texture and spice. Rinomato Apertivo has a lower sugar content than it’s competitors – because of the nature of the quality of the botanicals and how they are treated in production, less sugar is required to achieve a balanced flavour profile. Use it in long drinks – with ginger ale, tonic, or grapefruit soda – or in the famous Spritz sparkling wine cocktail.
Rinomato Americano Bianco is a “gentian wine” – a bitter wine based aperitif flavoured with gentian root. The gentian also gives it the bright yellow colour profile for which it is known. The mélange of quality Italian white wines provide acidity, structure and floral notes. Gentian from France’s Massif Centrale region provides dry and tannic layers. Succulent aromas of panettone, fresh bergamot and mandarin evolve into a gripping, complex and root-driven palate. Also perfect in long drinks, or in more complex cocktails such as the White Negroni or Vesper, we like to keep it simple with 1 part sweet vermouth, 2 parts Rinomato Americano and 3 parts club soda on ice. 1-2-3… refreshment!
