This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is a testament to the Jasci Marchesani winery's dedication to crafting authentic and expressive wines. Made from 100% Montepulciano grapes cultivated in the Vasto/Monteodorisio/Casalbordino region of Abruzzo, this wine embodies the character of its terroir.   

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Intense ruby red with vibrant violet highlights.   
• Aroma: A captivating bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, intermingled with subtle hints of spice and vanilla.   
• Palate: Full-bodied and well-structured with a balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Flavors of blackberries, dark chocolate, and licorice linger on the finish.   

Winemaking:

The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected before undergoing fermentation at a controlled temperature. This process allows for optimal extraction of color and flavour. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 6 months, adding complexity and depth.
